Survival of the fittest

Since childhood we are listening these words either from our parents or teachers or from friends. Are these words have any meaning or we are just reading those words. Most of us are following these words from the hearts and we also justify our doings by saying that this is the law of nature. Is this the law of nature. In my opinion this is not true. How can this be possible that a law of nature makes us restless, makes us rigid, emotionless and makes us to think of self only. In our whole life we strive only for the realization of our own dreams, in pursuit of so called self-defined happiness. We run for our desires, for our greed and we continuously say in midst of our race that what is wrong in going like that. In the course of these actions what we forget is the world around us, the people around us and the true meaning of being human, true meaning of happiness. We forget that it is in our hands that how we can shape this world. Today what we are is the result of what we have done in our past.

If we are able to think that our happiness lies in the happiness of others, if the world around us is happy we ultimately become happy. If our whole efforts ,our purpose of study, our purpose of life are in the direction of making world a better place then I can assure you that there would be no wars, no poverty, no hunger, no conflicts between religions and fragrance of happiness would fill the whole universe. So, stop thinking that in nature the fittest survives, we human beings are making the fittest to survive for our own selfishness, but we can’t be happy by this theory. What survives in future is the sorrow not the happiness. Let’s make this world a better place to live so that our offspring would breath in an environment where there is happiness all around us…have a nice day!!
